The Amengansie is not only, the priest of the dead, all of the deities, the mouth of Afa, and the priests of the living, but they are also the queen (or king) of the Azé (Iyami). They are the Mothers /(Fathers) of the African Tradition across all paths. They might be known by many names within their respective path, but they are in no ways limited by them. Many in the Diaspora are born to this path but are unaware of it.
