Chief Hounon-Amengansie (1955-2022)
I am a Mami Wata, Yeveh Vodoun, Mama Tchamba, and Amengansie Priest, and lineage trained herbalist initiated first to my crown spirit Mami Wata in by Chief Hounon-Amengansie Mama Zogbe (of the Mami Wata Healers Society of Georgia. I under went initiation to my ancestral lineages Yeveh Vodoun and to the Royal Mama Tchamba(Ancestral Slave Sibs) by Chief Hounon-Amengansie Mama Zogbé. In Togo, West Africa, I under went my final ancestral initiation and became Hounon-Amengansie Tossou Toyi.
I am God-gifted with spiritual sight. Since childhood, I have been training in traditional herbal lore/medicine and hoodoo spiritual work by both my Great-Great Grandmothers and Aunt who were both Vodoun Priestesses and Master Herbalists. I have trained extensively in the Port Royal Mountains Of Jamaica for over 10 years with a master herbalist and Kumina Priestess.
After the passing of my mothers, I endured many years of soul searching, personal/spiritual suffering, spiritual exploitation and intense spirit manifestations. It was through Mami Wata that I finally found what my soul was in search of: the spiritual traditions of my most ancient African mothers and fathers. It is to them that I dedicate my life's work.
Today, after proper ceremonies instituted under "True Divine Spiritual Authority", my soul has finally found the peace it was desperately in search of. As a fully initiated/trained Mami Wata Vodoun Priest and Amengansie, I have been called to help educate the Diaspora and the world on the true Vodoun tradition, removing it from the hands of misguided Western Christian Evangelicals, Hollywood fabrication, and non Diasporan/African frauds and opportunists who have continued to mock and misrepresent African Traditions for centuries without anyone challenging their so-called truth about "US". They have continued with their futile attempts to discredit and rewrite "Our" history leaving "Us" out of it.
I have been commissioned by God, the Ancestors and the Vodou to offer correct spiritual knowledge and assistance to aid in the healing process and restoration of the true Diaspora/African Vodoun and the soul of African people world wide.

VERY IMPORTANT:
There can be No Vodou without the African (Black) Ancestors.
It is imperative to remember that Vodoun is first and foremost, an ancestrally inherited tradition, meaning it is the African (Black) ancestors who carried the Vodoun spirits in their blood/souls thus passing them (the Vodou) on to their rightful descendants. Meaning the Vodou can never be bought, sold, or otherwise appropriated for personal, ego-centric, power driven western motives.
It is imperative to comprehend that No One can sell give or bend the Vodou to their personal agendas, as it is the African Ancestors who are paramount and wield the True Divine power in this domain.
Therefore, for no amount of money or notoriety will we perform any fake ceremonies, or 'legitimize' bogus rituals/ceremonies performed outside the domain of Divine African Ancestral Law.
Vodoun is not New Age Sensationalism or 'Black Witchcraft'.
Vodoun is a religion centered around Spiritual Healing and is not 'magick', sticking pins in dolls, Hollywood shenanigans, cursing or the magico-botanical practice of sorcery, or anything that willfully seeks the destruction of another human being. For no amount of money will we maim, kill, destroy others or force errant non-committal lovers to return, or work for the destruction of marriages, nor perform anything negative or any work outside of divine law. All such requests will be ignored SO PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST THEM.
Come the right way.
When approaching the Vodou to request for help, please come with the right intentions. Be humble and respectful to the African/Diaspora Ancestors and their Vodoun, and they in turn will assist you fully. Please remember that they already know what is in your heart before you speak, and that you can never deceive them. Approaching them the right way assures you their blessing and aids in the smooth facilitation of their work and the granting of your requests.
